Dear Family, Friends & Partners of CHRO:

“When something bad happens, you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.” -Unknown

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, I felt the need to share a few thoughtful words about the city of Houston. The truth is, Houston has become my home away from home. Starting in December of last year, my travels with Zen have taken me all over–from Arkansas and Missouri to Florida and Oklahoma.  However, most of my trips have been to the Houston area. Naturally, I have become friends with our clients and partners all over the nation’s fourth largest city. Which is why seeing what has happened there is beyond words, actually.

That being said, to witness the resolve and pure strength rising from the people of Houston as well as the outpouring of love and care coming from all over this great country amazes me even more. There is no question that there are many tough days, weeks, months, and even years ahead of everyone affected by this tragedy, but I have zero doubt as to if Houston is up to this challenge.

Honestly, I have been thinking about how we at Zen might mobilize and do our part to assist in the long road to recovery that lies ahead of Houston. In due time, I do hope we can make a gesture as a company; at any rate, I know myself and several other employees have and will continue to give and help in our own way, small or big. It is the least we can do and I hope you all will join us in solidarity and do the same.

May peace fall upon the great city of Houston. We are with you all the way.

Sincerely,
